In a letter to Will Orton Tewson, Wilkinson discusses poetic style and structure, with quotations from George Meredith, Francis Thompson, Robert Frost, Louise Imogen, and Geoffrey Chaucer. In addition Wilkinson asks Abbie Farwell Brown for a copy of her "oak-tree poem," for a children's anthology; refers to a sonnet from her "Citadels," and mentions Brown's mother and sister, the Author's Club in Boston, and the Church of the Advent in Boston.
